Overall, the Bulldog Brewer was a really great home brew machine to use. The control panel was extremely intuitive, the build quality was high and the pump reliable for the review that we carried out. Boiling temperature was reached relatively quickly and easily. It was also very easy to clean afterwards which is not always the case with home brew machines.
Things to consider - the mains cable was on the short side which limited its location to being close to a socket. The temperature during crash cooling was inaccurate, probably due to a combination of the accumulation of particulates around the probe and residual heating from the elements - we'd recommend a second temperature sensor / thermometer to hand. The bazooka filter on the tap clogged very quickly and required frequent scraping with a paddle to enable the wort to flow freely. It would be nice to have an audible notification when temperatures were reached / timer had finished counting down etc.
None of the above should detract much from your decision making process when considering the purchase of the Bulldog Brewer - it is right up there as a quality piece of home brewing technology and Pub Sheds highly recommends it.
